About the Committee
The Information Technology Policy Committee serves as a consultative body for the Information Technology Governance Committee on IT policy and issues pertaining to the use of IT in teaching and learning, research, and other professional activities of the faculty and IT community. In addition, it addresses issues of privacy and security of electronic data, with respect to collection, access and retention period. Chaired by Nickolai Zeldovich, Professor of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and a member of CSAIL.
